Why Join a Performing Company?
Our Performing Companies are designed for dancers who are ready for additional opportunities to grow, perform, and challenge themselves in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Company dancers receive advanced training, perform in multiple productions throughout the season, attend workshops and master classes, and participate in select competitions. At Webb Dance Academy, competitions are viewed as learning experiences rather than high-pressure events. We believe competitions provide valuable opportunities for dancers to gain confidence, receive professional feedback, develop teamwork skills, and celebrate their progress as artists.
Our focus is not on trophies or rankings, but on personal growth, strong technique, artistry, and creating meaningful experiences that inspire a lifelong love of dance. Every dancer is encouraged to work toward their individual goals while supporting and celebrating the success of their fellow company members.
Whether performing on stage, participating in a workshop, or attending a competition, our goal is to help dancers build confidence, discipline, resilience, and a deeper appreciation for the performing arts.

Yes. All dancers interested in joining a Performing Company must attend the audition. Auditions are used for placement purposes and help our directors determine the best fit for each dancer.
Are dancers cut from the auditions?

What if my dancer cannot attend the audition?
We understand that family schedules can be busy, especially during the summer months. If your dancer is unable to attend the scheduled audition, please reach out to us. We are happy to discuss alternative audition or placement options whenever possible.

Dancers should wear fitted dance attire and have ballet shoes available. Additional information will be provided upon registration.

Fundraising Opportunities
We work hard to keep company costs as affordable as possible while providing meaningful performance and training opportunities for our dancers. We never want financial circumstances to prevent a dedicated and hardworking dancer from participating in our performing companies.
Throughout the season, fundraising opportunities may be offered to help offset company-related expenses. Parent involvement is greatly appreciated in helping organize and support these efforts. Families are encouraged to participate, but fundraising is not required.
If your family needs additional financial assistance, please contact the Academy Directors. We are committed to working with families whenever possible to ensure dancers have the opportunity to continue their training and performance experience.
